Nettleham Scout Group

The dark nights are keeping the groups indoors more as winter approaches.  However, we are still out and about in the community supporting events and fundraising for new tents for the start of the camping season.

We took part in the recent Nettleham Festive Market, working hard to provide lovely hot dogs and mulled wine.  Thank you to all who visited the stall we raised £500.00.

Our now Annual Christmas Windows Trail Map has been on sale for £1.00.  The map took you around the village area to view the beautiful Christmas Windows that were provided by the local shops and businesses.  The winning window will be announced after Christmas.

A big thank you to all who donated socks, hats, neck warmers, underwear and gloves for our chosen Christmas charity SHNUG.  Three bags were sent to Compassionate Lincoln to be distributed to the Homeless in Lincoln and the Immigrants in Calais.

As we begin the New Year we are on the search for some new leaders to come along and join our friendly team of volunteers who work hard to provide excellent scouting experiences in the village.  If you feel you would like a new challenge for 2018 and to be part of this active scout group please contact me, Trudy Connor (Group Scout Leader) at
