What we’ve been doing…

We have had a great start to the school year with our new children settling in really well and new friendships beginning to form. The children have been developing their independence through having a go at putting on their own coat and wellies to play outside and serving their own snacks. The older children have been fantastic in helping the younger ones.

Lots of time has been spent outside: going on mini-beast hunts, collecting natural resources, developing motor skills via obstacle courses and getting messy in the mud kitchen!

We have been busy with Halloween activities: making pumpkin plates and ghost paper chains, reading stories and carving pumpkins. Baking and decorating biscuits was a particular favourite!

As a result of some successful fundraisers during the course of last year, we have purchased some additional soft play equipment which the children have been really enjoying as can be seen in the photographs on this page.
