Further to the article in the Summer 2016 edition of Nettleham News regarding our new place of worship on Deepdale Lane, we can now report planning permission was approved by West Lindsey District Council for the above development on 1 June 2016.

Whilst we appreciate there were some concerns raised by both residents and the Parish Council, we will continue to work with the council and our consultants in order to alleviate these concerns with schemes such as our landscaping and drainage strategies for this site.

We are currently working on a tree and hedgerow planting programme, in order to enable the shrubs and trees to become established as soon as possible. It is unlikely that the construction project will begin for some months due to further work on the design detail, obtaining of quotations and raising of funds.

The Long Leys Gospel Hall Trust are very thankful to have secured this site and the necessary planning consent to enable us to provide long-awaited and much-needed new facilities.
We look forward to continuing to work with the Parish Council and local residents in support of the Nettleham village community by participating in activities such as village litter picking and other maintenance support.
