Sightsavers | Eggstra Special Coffee Morning | March 2016
Thank you all for your support of the Eggstra Special Coffee Morning held on Saturday 12 March in aid of Sightsavers. It was so good of you to bring gifts for the raffle, cake tombola and knitwear stalls, and of course all the help given by those kind folk who looked after the various stalls was much appreciated. It was a great morning of fun and fellowship and your generosity meant that the grand sum of £328.00 was raised for Sightsavers.
Isn’t that fantasic and thank you all very much.
There is further good news to follow, for the chicks and bunnies knitted by Doris Colman and Wynne Rollin were also sold after the coffee morning, both at the salon, by kind permission of Glynis and also at Lincoln County Hospital and these sales raised a further £67.00. More donations followed and after Easter I was able to send the grand sum of £420.00 to Sightsavers. Wonderful generosity from you all, so on behalf of all those folk who will now receive eye treatment, I send a very big THANK YOU.
To continue our fund raising, I will book a stall at Nettleham Cares on Saturday 15 October, so look forward to seeing you there
Thank you again.
