New Extended Hours arrangements

Nettleham Medical Practice is pleased to be able to offer our patients access to routine appointments at evenings and weekends.

The new service is part of an extended access service which has been commissioned by NHS Lincolnshire West Clinical Commissioning Group and wil start on 1st September 2018.

The appointments will also be available on bank holidays and across the Easter, Christmas and New Year periods.

Extended hours appointments are for pre-bookable non-urgent appointments. Examples of these include chronic illness and medicines reviews.

The service is being delivered by a federation of GP practices in the area. If a patient wishes to attend an extended hours appointment, they may need to travel to another local GP practice and may not necessarily see their own GP.

In our locality, appointments are available between 6.30pm and 8pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are also a number of additional appointments being made available during core hours (8.00am to 6.30pm Monday – Friday)

To arrange an appointment or for more information on when and where appointments are available, speak to the practice receptionist.

Riseholme St Mary 1851 In White's 1842 Directory, this is listed as "a churchless parish."
The Anglican parish church was dedicated to Saint Mary, but was unused by the late 1600s and fell into decay.
The parishioners used the church at Nettleham.
A new St. Mary's Church was built in the late 1840s and services started in 1851.

Another update on the exhibition at Uncle Henry's...today we put up more prints...we now have a total of 63 photos on display with more to come next week. As well as the coffee lounge and our main exhibit on the display boards in the function room...we have now been asked if we will put some of our prints on the walls of the function room. So a few went up today, with as I said earlier, more going up next week...it's a movable feat. So, if you're lost for something to do this bank holiday, go along to Uncle Henry's to see our exhibition and while you are there you can partake of their superb menu. Afterwards you can work off all that cake getting lost in the famous Uncle Henry's Maize Maze. ... See MoreSee Less

t.co/SYnfhxiEnh Nettles win 7-1Brief pre season Match Report
Nettleham after cementing the squad for the upcoming season started there proper pre season away to Retford Fc who are playing out of the Sheffield league this season so was to be a good test.
With 5 debutants and a deputy Goalkeeper and The new nettles looking to settle was already going to be a difficult day.

Ft 1-7

But how wrong was we as the score line did not flatter Nettleham with some sublime football within first 10 mins Nettleham could of been comfortably ahead but was not til Jack Thornton stepped up to slot one in on 10 mins sepearting the two teams. Retford then caused some problems on 20 mins equalised. Wasn’t long before nettleham repied 4mins actually and Shae Oconnor on his debut since signing slots home 1-2. 33mins was the turn of Josh Smart to rifle his 1st of 3 taking it 1-3.

HT 1-3

Nettleham came out and made a few changes but Retford started the stronger making Trialist keeper for Nettleham pull of 2 saves .Nettleham started to settle 15 mins in and increased lead on 61mins Josh Smart getting his second. Quickly followed 4 mins later Josh Smart seals his hatrick.
Retford started to drop there heads a little as Nettleham where relentless Shae Oconnor getting his 2nd on the day on his debut. 1-6 . On 85 mins sky blues awarded a pen and Jack Thornton comfortably slots home.

FT 1-7

Man of Match Hat trick Josh Smart

Jay said” After comfiring signings we have been able to get some work done and get the new lads settled in and Wow some of the football was a pleasure to watch , Real headache this year on team selection but a good headache to have and I am really looking forward to the start of the season , thought the 5 new signings would need time but they clearly dont “
